One of the few straight oil portraits I have done, as much as I love to draw portraits with graphite I don’t like to paint them as much, I kind of like the outcome of this one. It was a commission form a dean of a university for the school library

you never cease to amaze me with you art and the way it looks so real, that its almost like photographs. i'm still trying oils, might take me a while to get as good as this... +fav

This is great! Looks like I could just reach out and touch him. I don't know if I'm going to like oils either... I'm having kindof a hard time with them. You do wonders with them though:D (Big Grin)
