Oil on Canvas 60” x 42”
Quite a surreal commissioned portrait in oil. I tried to create a tension with the sky, the strange glassless window, the dogs looking intensely at something off the canvas, wireless poles or palisades in a barren landscape and the inlays in the wall. This is the kind of commission I love where I have complete control of the imagery and concept. Daily DeviationGiven 2002-09-10Drama For One by nimra was suggested to me by *asunder and I totally agree with his choice here. I've been a long time fan of *nimra and have featured his work before. This surreal oil painting really struck me as a great piece, but the explanations behind his works always make them more interesting. View it at full-size then read his description. |

One of the best images I've seen here, ever.
Oils are difficult, I've tried them and that just makes me respect your work more.
Good colors and fine detailing make this stunning in quality and the surrealistic touch just adds into the atmosphere of this.
