Shattered III (center panel) pencil drawing
Drawing on hotpress wc board
I have changed my concept or simplified its presentation. It will work more like a classical triptych; large center drawing and two somewhat “mirrored” images on each side. I posted the left side a month ago one of the pair of “smashed” bulbs. (see gallery) The wires of these bulbs point out from the center image, which is larger and has a stabilizing effect. The outside images are 8” x 8” the center drawing is 8” x 16” I will post the whole triptych as soon as I can get a good shot of it together. In a very lose and abstract way it speaks to the biblical crucifixion.
