Graphite on Illustration board
Final drawing will be 30” x 40” this is 8” x 8”

As far as the single elements this is the last major one, (two eyes, roots, crow and skulls) now it’s time to put it all together. Symbolically; the first eye is accusatory, it holds blame and makes the viewer part of the narrative. This eye looks into the past and the future, yet there is an apathetical aspect to its gaze, in the final version this should make more sense.

Thanks for the great comments and questions so far!
Armin

You say, look at me now. don't shut those dyslexic eyes. So your heart's a slow learner and those drugs are its disguise. Well, it's a clear costume, you might as well not try to hide.
Damn, I've never seen anyone who can draw like you before... :wow:
You're my hero ;) ;) ;)

Hmmm..the pores...we've missinterpreted the words art and artists in the today laife...so i just don't like calling my-self or anybody but mother nature an artist.but if i was to ever call someone an artist for their drawings. it would be you Armin Mersmann. congrats.

absolutely fantastic, as always; your eyes are, to a layman like me, the most impressive part of your work. i'd love to see a step-by-step as to how you did them ;)
